TN RISE celebrates the global rise of women entrepreneurs. It recognizes their innovative ideas and unwavering drive as they transform industries, fuel economic growth, and inspire positive change around the world. In India, Tamil Nadu leads the charge, boasting a remarkable 13% of women entrepreneurs contributing to the state’s thriving economy.

Despite their growing presence, women still encounter obstacles such as limited access to funding, markets, and societal expectations.

Introducing the Women Start-up Mission! To address to the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs in accessing credit and marketing opportunities, the Honourable Finance Minister announced the establishment of an exclusive “Start-up Mission” for women during the Budget Session on 20th March 2023.

In alignment with this vision, the Tamil Nadu Rural Transformation Project is proud to introduce the “TN-RISE” Women Startup Mission under Innovation Promotion. This initiative aims to empower aspiring and existing rural women entrepreneurs by providing comprehensive support services to expand their business horizons.
